Job Description:

Federal Signal is in search of a Graphic Designer. This role provides visual design to the full range of marketing and communication messaging across all channels.

Key Activities/Responsibilities:


  • Design and produce a broad range of creative deliverables, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, PPT presentation slides, web, and print collateral.

  • Monitor brand consistency across all creative and graphic materials, maintaining existing brand standards and further developing the organizational brand identity.


  • Collaborates with marketing, manager, and other project participants to create visual content for internal employees and external customers across all businesses.

  • Work with external agencies and photographers.

  • Liaison with in-house Office Services to oversee print of marketing and sales material.

  • Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Skills Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in visual arts, Graphic Design, Digital media or equivalent.

  • 2-3 years professional experience in the field of graphic design.

  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Google Suite (Docs, Slides, and Sheets), and WordPress.

  • Advanced ability to design and format content with a focus on layout, typography, and color.

  • Experience with multitasking while being extremely organized, productive, timely, and reliable.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
