Location: REMOTE
Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking an Account Executive - Truck Transportation - FTL
They are a leading asset-based full truckload carrier specializing in efficient and reliable cross-border shipping between Canada, Mexico, and the United States. They offer a dynamic work environment and a strong focus on customer service.
Job Summary:
They are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring their shipping needs are consistently met. You will play a key role in driving sales growth and profitability for their Canada and Mexico cross-border lanes.
Responsibilities:
- Generate qualified sales leads and convert them into new customer accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique shipping needs
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely communication and problem-resolution
- Negotiate and close freight contracts
- Manage and grow your assigned portfolio of accounts
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to Canada and Mexico cross-border shipping
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry working with FTL services.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of cross-border shipping regulations between Canada, Mexico, and the United States (a plus)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Bilingualism in English and Spanish is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel 20%
