Job Description:

GPI is seeking an entry-level GIS Technician for our Bridgewater, NJ office. As a GIS Technician, you are responsible for updating the existing database to match what is in the field, cleaning the database of incorrect information, and adding locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

Field collection of transportation assets utilizing the latest data collection technologies
Office collection of transportation assets utilizing cutting edge office extraction software
Utilizing ESRI software such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro
Creating maps and analyzing GIS data to aid Engineers in their decision-making
Building interactive web maps in ArcGIS Online
Working on a Project Team that creates GIS solutions for co-workers and clients

Qualifications:

BS in Geography, Environmental Science, or comparable degree
1+ years of experience
Sound organizational skills, time management, and ability to work in a team environment are a must
Proficiency in using Esri GIS products is preferred
