Job Summary
The Business Analysis Leader for Dining and Hospitality holds a vital role in leading and supervising the Systems Support Specialists team. The overarching aim is to guarantee seamless system operations harmonized with organizational goals.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for menu management, streamlining inventory processes, and driving sustainability initiatives.
Responsible for timely reporting on sales, menu dynamics, and inventory status is imperative, necessitating close collaboration across multifunctional teams to ensure operational success.
Leads the day-to-day operations of our Dining Systems Support Team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective system performance. Manages operational issues and implement solutions promptly.
Collaborates closely with our IT teams to coordinate seamless upgrades of our dining and hospitality systems. Recommends standards and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Utilizes data-driven insights to optimize menus, considering customer feedback, industry trends, and financial considerations. Works closely with culinary staff to ensure menu offerings align with our goals.
Develops and implements efficient inventory management processes, including training and oversight of Inventory Interns. Utilizes technology for forecasting and cost efficiency.
Directs Hospitality plans to meet financial goals and identify opportunities for revenue growth. Manages vendor relations and process payments efficiently.
Anticipates and addresses guest needs, ensuring a positive experience. Gathers and acts upon guest feedback, implementing service improvements as necessary.
Oversees recruitment efforts and support employee development programs. Encourages skill development and recognize employee contributions.
Maintains clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding operational changes and updates.
General Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day operational management of business analysis staff.
Establishes short-term operational objectives.
Identifies operational issues and/or areas of improvement and implements solutions to improve processes and/or operational efficiency.
Analyzes, monitors, and evaluates performance of assigned staff; establishes work priorities, conducts performance reviews, and provides corrective action as needed.
Ensures adequate staffing and effective scheduling; participates and informs employment decisions for assigned staff.
Provides direct supervision and oversight of assigned staff and activities; impacts, and is held accountable for, the performance of team and/or assigned staff.
Ensures and provides training to assigned staff to improve business analysis operations; researches and identifies development opportunities for assigned staff.
Keeps next-level leader(s) informed of trends as well as significant problems.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move items weighting between 15 to 30 pounds occasionally. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
