Job Description: YRCI is seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support our Human Resources Remote Operations Center (HRROC™), located in Reston, VA. YRCI's HRROC™ is a Shared Service Center that supports multiple Federal agencies and offers a friendly, collaborative team environment with access to training from industry experts! The Role (Fully Remote) Although the YRCI home office is located in Reston, VA, this position is fully remote. Assist the Staffing Specialists with a variety of staffing and onboarding activities to include: Analyze Position Descriptions (PD) to develop job analyses and recruitment packages. Train on agency staffing systems. Post job opportunity announcements. Review applications for qualification determinations. Adjudicate Veterans' Preference. Extend offers of employment to selected candidates within the guidelines of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) compensation policy. Draft Tentative and Final offer letters to selected candidates. Request employment records via electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF), OPF, and Standard Form (SF)-75 data from losing agencies for transfer employees. Respond to Applicant inquiries regarding USAJobs announcements. Review, prepare, and code Accession SF-52s per the OPM Guide to Coding and Processing. Ability to execute a wide range of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), data bases, and retrieval methods to provide data for reporting purposes.
