This team member will assist with the application and administrative processes of the OSU Jobs System and will require the ability to solve problems over the telephone, by email, virtually, or in-person. OSU Jobs System processes may include the following:



Requisition/Job Offer/Background Checks

- Process job requisitions/postings for approval, ensureaccuracy
- Manage requisitions throughout the requisition life cycle
- Review offer letters for accuracy and submit through approvals
- Administer the background check program; submit and monitor backgroundchecks
- Answer general inquiries from departmental staff, employees, andapplicants- Research solutions and obtain accurate information- Provide quality customer service and administrative supportregarding the OSU Jobs System
- Assist applicants with the application process
- Assist with a variety of other Talent Development andRecruitment projects
- Assist with Human Resources front office coverage on occasion



Recruitment Analytics

- Provide routine applicant tracking and background check reports
- Other reports as requested


Fast paced, deadline driven and lots of computer time

The ability to maintain highly sensitive and confidential information is required.

This position is part of a Career Development Plan. Final position placement will be determined by candidates experience and education. Education & Experience Position Qualifications:



Minimum Qualifications:

High School/GED Two years clerical/customer service experience.Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.

Requires strong typing and computer skills with demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent people skills with proven ability to work in a close team environment and ability to adapt to frequent changes. The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and must have the ability to effectively exchange accurate information to provide excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Four years of experience.
