Position Description

Construction operations field support.

Skills:

• Be at the job site or warehouse on time.
• Maintain all safety standards.
• Following instructions from supervisors
• Measure, mark dimensions and layout material to be installed using tools such as scribes, rulers, tape measure, calculators, survey equipment and squares.
• Install assemblies including pipes and equipment in supportive frameworks.
• Ensure that efficiency is maximized while fabricating and installing pipe systems.
• Install plumbing systems in strict accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) & Fire suppression in strict accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 13 and other applicable sections.
• Measure, cut & fit pipes & tubes according to project requirements.
• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating & cooling systems.
• Thread, solvent welded, brazed or soldered connections.
• Braze or solder connections.
• Provide assistance on the site or warehouse as needed.
• Perform care and maintenance & tracking of assigned tools & equipment.
• Effectively operate & provide daily maintenance of heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
• Perform regular maintenance and repair of plumbing systems onsite.
• Housekeeping

Position Requirements

• Comfortable working at heights on scaffolding, scissor lifts, boom lifts and ladders
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
