Material Handler at Vectorply Corporation in Phenix City, Alabama

Job Description:

Vectorply has a Material Handler position available on 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3pm - 11pm) AND 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 11pm - 7am) . There will be overtime opportunities. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for booking finished goods from machines, locating pallets of goods to warehouse locations and maintaining the work area. Training will be provided. Tasks and duties include but not limited to the following:

Inspection of materials and equipment
Unloading trailers of raw materials
Monitoring of the manufacturing process to ensure materials are available and at the correct location when needed
Transporting materials throughout the facility as required
Packaging materials in preparation for shipment
Palletizing materials
Booking materials into the inventory system
Retrieving materials for shipping
Loading trailers for shipment
Disposing of waste materials
Cleaning the warehouse and shipping areas
Maintaining accurate records and placing the documents in correct location
