Call Center Representative at Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace in Port Jefferson Station, New York

Job Description:

Are you looking for a Call Center position within a gourmet food environment? We have a Part-time Call Center Representative opportunity at our Port Jefferson Catering office store location. (Position schedule will be: Wed: 7 am to 3 pm, Thurs: 7am to 12 pm, Friday 7 am to 12 pm and Saturday: 12 pm to 8pm).

Summary
Our Call Center Representatives are responsible for managing heavy phones while providing excellent customer service to our customers. Our new hire will also work to resolve customer issues and complaints and assisting with general catering inquiries.

Responsibilities
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.Follow communication scripts when handling different topicsIdentify customers needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives.Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise.Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way.Frequently attend educational catering seminars provided by upper management to improve knowledge and performance levels.Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.Other duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a customer support role with high volume callsTrack record of over-achieving quotaStrong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listeningCustomer focus and adaptability to different personality typesAbility to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
