RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Social Media Specialist I in Mountain View, CA. This is a contract part-time role, no more than 25 hours a week, to replace the work previously handled by an agency.

Summary:
The client is looking for a Social Media Specialist to support its Corporate Communications team and the company brand's social media platforms. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of creating and executing content campaigns and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders, all fueled by data and analytics. The ideal candidate is comfortable in new and existing internal and external digital channels (social media, employee advocacy, blog, etc.), is fast-paced and can pivot quickly; has a heart for the customer, and leverages insights to make strategic business decisions. The position will be a part of the company corporate communications team, representing the company brand across all digital communications touch points around the world, including social media, online communities, internal employee-facing channels, with influencers, and the external company blog.

Duties:


  • Write social copy and publish content to company social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok

  • Leverage social listening to inform strategy based on what's being discussed; Voice of consumer reporting during times of crisis

  • Support our reputation pillars with content plans

  • Optimize campaigns based on data and learning

  • Provide strategic inputs and counsel on digital communications strategy related to large, cross-functional campaigns

  • Coordinate content and campaigns from start-to-finish, working with agencies, vendors, internal/external stakeholders, PR, internal communications, and digital communications teams

  • Support external communications team with inputs to build content campaigns and reporting

  • Plug into appropriate operational mechanisms to bring content from stakeholders to life







REQUIREMENTS:



  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, or Digital Media or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with paid, earned, or owned media

  • Expert of social media usage, platforms, content, measurement, and paid and organic best practices

  • Experience publishing across all major social media platforms for a brand

  • Comfortable working in a rapid, and ever-changing social media landscape

  • Ability to be nimble as the capability is in early stages and growing rapidly

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make decisions based on data and human empathy

  • Passion for sharing the Intuit brand with the world

  • Heart for the customer

  • Ability to make decisions, prioritize, and work cross-functionally

  • Experience working on a parent or corporate brand

  • Collaborative self-starter

Location:

  • Prefer SDG or MTV

  • Open to remote also and required to align to PST

Interview process: 2 rounds:

  • Round 1 - introductory - 30 minutes

  • Round 2 - Panel interview - with a short craft assignment to come prepared with






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
