The Commercialization Manager is responsible for handling and managing all aspects of new product launches. This position acts like a project manager and work cross functionally with R&D, TPM, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and other facets to make project successful by engaging periodically with different stake holders to get updates. This position also supports any change management program on site from front to back and deliver the desired results.

1. Project Management:
2. Manage the commercialization of new products, product changes, and major cost savings and process change projects through the activities of a cross functional team.
3. Execute launches as indicated by the commercialization roadmap
4. Manage project resource allocation for each product launch project.
5. Manage and maintain commercialization and customer information on SharePoint.
6. Plan and schedule project timelines for each product launch project.
7. Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
9. Work with functional managers to insure resources are assigned to implement product commercialization road map.
10. Ensure smooth and timely exchanges of information and clear understanding of priorities and expectations among commercialization team members.
11. Pro-actively communicate with management and sales leads regarding the commercialization status of all products.
12. Pro-actively communicate any changes in the internal commercialization processes to product management.
13. Work closely with R&D to define deliverables and manage the hand-off of new products from development to commercialization to sustaining status.
14. Define escalation process.
15. Measure effectiveness of existing processes and continuously improve.
16. Create tools to manage and report on projects moving through the commercialization process (project schedule linked to resource pool) from request to bid to products shipped.
17. Develop metrics to monitor and report success of commercialization efforts to management at monthly project review.
18. Implement and manage product and/or project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
19. Lead weekly meetings with internal team and project leader.
20. Semi-annually, lead a review with the leadership team of delivered projects for the previous year on results vs expectations and any lessons learned.
21. Provide direction and support to commercialization team.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years' experience in Master Data Management
SAP experience
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
Food & beverage industry experience
Experience reviewing formulas and recipes
