The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Manager of Payer Relations you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Executes and manages strategies to ensure payer health from a revenue, cash realization and relationship aspect, both proactively and reactively .

  • Works closely with Managed Care department to identify areas of opportunity/outliers and develops strategies to drive effectiveness/efficiencies.

  • Works cross functionally to drive realization and process improvement throughout the entire revenue cycle.

  • Analyzes account performance data to identify trends and prioritize opportunities and improve operational processes.

  • Lead team of people to correctly load and implement operational aspects of new/amended agreements including all payer processes and rules affecting revenue/cash.

  • Develops and manages relationships with payers to facilitate revenue cycle issues.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND four (4) years of Managed Care/Health Care Reimbursement experience

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND eight (8) years of Managed Care/ health Care Reimbursement experience

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:


  • Eight (8) years of medical accounts receivable and/or managed care contracting experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience.

  • Eight (8) years of experience managing care/commercial payer landscape, reimbursement methodologies, revenue cycle and industry standards.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to analyze information and use logic to resolve issues.

  • Ability to provide direction to multiple teams; exhibit high initiative to get things accomplished.

  • Ability to perform well in team environment with staff at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to build business relationships both internally and externally.

  • Self-motivated and an effective time manager.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products.

  • Ability to multi-task a variety of abstract and complex issues and prioritize effectively.

Work location: Remote

Travel: May include up to 10%(domestic)

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
