We are seeking a Demand Planning Specialist to join the team. This role is crucial in forecasting demand and optimizing inventory levels to meet business goals and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in demand planning or supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.

Focus: • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical modeling techniques. • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to refine forecasts based on customer insights and promotional activities. • Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to align inventory levels with forecasted demand. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service metrics. • Participate in the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. • Analyze and interpret data to identify potential issues or opportunities for improving service levels and reducing costs. • Prepare regular reports and presentations on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and other relevant metrics for management review. • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting techniques and tools.
Skill Set: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting methodologies. • Experience with ERP systems and demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra). • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
