Responsibilities
Procure materials and services for various commodities, emphasizing cost savings and timely delivery.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Manage supplier relationships to achieve material cost and availability goals.
Analyze market trends and conduct supplier assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Provide guidance and support to buyers and other team members.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
