We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager for our client in the Family Office space. This Tax Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the clients' tax planning and compliance needs. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of tax regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance:
Own the preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and entities.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax documents to relevant authorities.
Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve potential tax issues.
Leadership:
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Complete regular continued education to maintain license and knowledge on tax laws and industry best practices.
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their tax-related concerns and providing proactive advice.
Act as a trusted advisor on tax matters, offering strategic guidance to enhance clients' financial well-being.
Risk Management:
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate tax-related risks.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance risk management processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Significant experience (5+ years) in tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and entities.
Excellent knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
