Johnsonville, LLC IT M365 Platform Administrator Position Overview: The IT M365 Platform Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Microsoft 365 environment, including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, various Azure services, and the Power Platform and related services. The individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, security, and optimal performance of our M365 environment supporting the organization's digital productivity platform. Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for the administration of the M365 Platform including SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, Streams, and Planner, and O365 services including Azure AD Connect and InTune
Provision sites and accounts, and oversee management of the provisioning process, using any tools provided to facilitate the process
Execute monthly audits on the Active Directory environment to reconcile users
Strategize, plan and execute tenant activities in support of M&A activities
Utilize O365 Command online tool for querying Exchange environment
Evaluate effective license positions in the platform and provide opportunities for rationalization
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Microsoft 365 services with other systems and applications
Collaborate extensively with the security team to emphasize the safety and security of the Johnsonville's systems and content
Support Single Sign-On using Active Directory Federation Services with Multi Factor Authentication
Provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance and training to end-users for Microsoft 365 applications and services
Monitor and analyze system performance, security and usage metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively
Implement and enforce security policies, data protection measures, and compliance requirements across the Microsoft 365 platform
Assign group & file level permissions in Active Directory
Plan and execute migration projects from on-premises systems to Microsoft 365 cloud services
Monitor Microsoft's roadmap for M365 upgrades and ensures communication of relevant changes
Document processes, procedures and configurations related to Microsoft 365 administration
Education:
Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline desired
M365 certification, such as MS Teams Specialist, SPO Admin, and/or Development desired
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of general IT-related experience
Minimum 2 years' experience with M365 Platform, managing MS OneDrive, MS Teams and MS SharePoint Online preferred
Skills:
Working knowledge of administration within the M365 Platform and related services
Working understanding of Active Directory and DNS
Knowledge of Microsoft Security using Active Directory, Azure Administration, and Microsoft 365 online groups
Provide best-practice advice and guidance related to email and related services
Familiarity with PowerShell Scripting
Understanding of Networking Fundamentals
Demonstrate personal integrity, honesty, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent configuration and procedural documentation skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Other:
Willingness to work hours outside of normal hours as needed
Ability to travel
On-call rotation (7x24) with other team members
