Our Information Management department is looking to add a Manager, IT Services to our team!
The Manager, IT Services is an individual contributor role who is proactive, resourceful, results oriented and will act as our technical lead and coordinator for IT services within a shared services model for infrastructure, applications, databases, service desk, and other IT operational activities. This position is responsible for IT vendor management and liaison with CRG’s developers and SaaS providers. The individual will both manage technical projects and perform assigned duties to assist with IT security compliance including the completion of assessments, contract review, auditing activities, process, and procedural documentation.
The Manager will also have IT site responsibilities, as needed, for activities such as service desk support, asset management and on-site support for offsite IT service team. Under the supervision of the VP, Information Management, this role will contribute to the planning and execution of the company’s technical initiatives, service delivery, risk management and product development.
We offer a hybrid work arrangement if in close proximity to one of our offices. Candidates outside of those areas will be considered for telecommuting.
Key Responsibilities
Liaison and manage activities between CRG and the AWG IT Shared Services Teams
Accountable for overall performance of IT SaaS and development vendors
Maintains full knowledge and management of the Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators for the IT and Application Services
Provide assistance with IT budgetary activities and updates
Understand IT needs of the company’s functional departments and products/services to customers that leverage technology
Perform technical feasibility assessments for proposed solutions and new products
Provide department leadership in the implementation, development and management of policies, standards, practices, and security measures.
Manage activities of resources in the support of daily applications and enhancements such as service desk, configuration, reporting/auditing, processing, and training support necessary to advance user capabilities and knowledge.
Assist functional leads with understanding of technical business systems and their adoption of changes and new functionality through effective communication and training.
Ability to directly monitor our servers and troubleshoot including services management or escalate to AWG IT Shared Services.
Knowledge of IIS with the ability to start and stop sites, update configuration files and content.
Monitoring of API objects in Azure
Ability to run and configure reports using PowerShell and other Microsoft tools.
Provide functional expertise and representation support to the business development, client relationships, and marketing teams including RFP responses, security and compliance assessments, custom technical requests, and new product/service/functionality development or implementation.
Backup resource for badging system.
Occasional after hours and weekend support as needed.
Other duties and projects as required and assigned by management
Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft products and technologies such as Azure (hosting), Windows Server OS, O365 services, SQL Server
ServiceNow Ticketing system
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend a solution or course of action
Ability to successfully manage time, prioritization, methodology and resolution of own tasks as well as organizational/shared services team members and vendors in diversified activities
Lead by example to set tone of ownership, accountability and customer service
Ability to manage multiple projects interacting with both technical and business leaders
Project management, requirements management, process improvement and systems implementation skills required
Ability to develop and execute on quality and compliance initiatives
Knowledge and skills typically acquired in 5+ years of infrastructure, applications and/or technical operations experience and integrated environments
Awareness of global data security requirements, policies, and techniques
Superior communication skills with multiple levels of technical and functional leaders
Ability to manage and lead technical and functional teams and projects
Knowledge of systems development, IT processes, and applications support
Proficient use of Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
API and SSO (PingOne) experience is a plus
Global workforce mobility industry experience is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical fields or combination of equivalent work experience and verifiable certification(s)
Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
