What's a typical day as a Production Manager? You'll be: • Generating and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. • Managing and allocating production resources effectively. • Overseeing parts acquisition activities to coordinate with the production schedule. • Coordinating production activities to ensure products are produced on time and meet quality standards. • Ensuring production activities are performed in a cost-efficient manner. • Coordinating all production equipment operation, maintenance, and acquisition. • Managing product inventory levels to meet anticipated demand. • Ensuring quality control within all production processes. • Monitoring production processes and resolving delivery and scheduling issues. • Participating in customer status update meetings and regular management meetings. • Identifying training needs and conducting training sessions for production personnel. • Ensuring ISO 9000 compliance in production processes.
