Job Description:

The Deal Desk Specialist is responsible for data validations, enablement, and opportunity booking in Tricentis’ quote to close process. This person will own reviewing Salesforce and CPQ data against customer documentation & maintaining customer data in Salesforce. This role collaborates closely with the WW Sales organization, Renewals team, Legal, Finance, and system operations. 

 

Responsibilities: 

·       Act as a Subject Matter Expert for quoting, pricing, deal flow and order processing for the sales organization and provide guidance on business requirements

·       Support the Global Deal Desk leadership to deliver consistent and exceptional support to our sales organization

·       Provide guidance to sales organization on complex deal structures

·       Enforce and manage approvals for non-standard deals and effectively collaborate across Sales, Finance and Legal

·       Manage data hygiene in Salesforce to correct and organize misaligned data 

·       Ensure compliance with customer contracts tied to key business and legal policies

·       Identify gaps in current Deal Desk processes (both operational and systematic) and create improvements and efficiencies

·       Strong presence and communication with the Field.

·       Work closely with all functional areas to process opportunities efficiently and accurately

 

Qualifications: 

·       4+ years of Deal Desk, Contracts, Sales or Sales Operations experience

·       A thorough understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles

·       Strong time management, organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

·       Strong attention to detail while multitasking

·       Highly organized with strong attention to detail

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

·       Familiarity with accounting and software revenue recognition principles

·      Experience with Salesforce Zuora or CPQ
