Job Description:

As a Lab Pack Chemist at Clean Earth, located at 9950 Chemical Rd, Pasadena, TX 77507, USA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring proper off-site treatment and disposal of hazardous waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies. This full-time role offers opportunities for career growth in the field of environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Handle hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material according to Lab Pack policies and regulations.
• Perform onsite services such as waste collection, consolidation, sampling, and safety inspections.
• Assist other business groups as needed.
• Prepare shipments of packaged waste and complete required documentation.
• May require obtaining and maintaining a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Follow and promote Health & Safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Basic Required:

• Associate College degree in General Science or equivalent experience.
• Driver’s License with clear record.
• Capable of moderate to extensive travel with 20% overnight travel.
• Physical ability to lift and move material frequently exceeding 55 lbs.
• Basic understanding of chemistry through general chemistry or biology.

Preferred:

• BS/BA in science-related field.
• CDL B License with Hazmat endorsement.
