These positions are located in the vibrant Northwest Harris County, Energy Corridor.

What You Will Do: As a Field Investigator, you'll dive into the heart of forensics, gathering crucial data to uncover the truth behind client infrastructure damages or incidents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Exploration: Traveling daily to designated damage locations in the assigned area.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivating professional relationships with client DPC.
  • On-site Investigation: Conducting interviews with client personnel and other stakeholders to gather essential information.
  • Thorough Investigation: Performing timely, evidence-based investigations to determine liability and root causes of damage.
  • Documentation: Capturing factual evidence through photography and submitting field investigation reports electronically for processing.

What You Will Bring:

Required:

  • Drive: Personal vehicle required for travel between damage sites.
  • Communication: Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Reliability: Punctuality is a must.
  • Experience: Previous experience in field investigations, familiarity with Texas 811 laws, and understanding of excavation theory.
  • Expertise: Knowledge of utility infrastructure and processes leading to facility damage. Prior experience in utility damage investigation and/or claims is advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in damage prevention, excavation, or investigative roles (or a combination thereof).

You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and capable of lifting 50 lbs. – 75 lbs. periodically. Physical agility is essential as you may be required to work in various environments, including confined spaces and uneven terrain.
