The Mold Maintenance Cleaner will assist with daily operations by maintaining the cleanliness of our molds in between uses. This role is a vital part of our molding operations by reducing mold fouling that can cause damage to our molds and if not maintained, will also cause quality issues to the final product, and create an excess in scrap.
Essential Job Duties:
We are seeking a Mold Maintenance Cleaner at our Ashtabula, OH Manufacturing Facility
- Clean molds
- Update date codes as necessary
- Change material codes as needed
- Responsible for proper storage and oiling of molds to prevent rust and damage to molds
- Enter daily mold maintenance activities into computer
- Adheres to all ISO standards
- General housekeeping
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Operate overhead mold hoist/crane
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills: Required to be familiar with all presses, proper methods, tools and equipment needed to make a quality part in a safe manner
- Ability to understand mold releases
- Ability to learn mold numbers
- Must be able to properly use and read gauges
- Must have basic math skills & strong measurement skills
- Familiar with and comfortable using various hand tools
- Detailed oriented
- Good decision making capabilities
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task
- Will be required to acquire tow motor license
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
