Duties and Responsibilities	Receive, track, and inventory equipment. Stage, image, test, and issue equipment to customers (students, faculty, and staff). Test image and configurations for assets. Clean, perform diagnostic tests and reimage returns. Organize, label, and maintain device storage area. Rely on instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Ability to perform wall-to-wall inventory and capture post snapshot changes accurately. Retrieve accountable assets from secure storage locations. Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Inventory and Asset Management. Monitor tickets and respond to moderately complex customer inquiries relating to assets. Provides troubleshooting assistance to students, faculty, and staff to resolve computer problems and issues. Provide Technical hardware support for customers on a range of devices, including but not limited to; Apple Products and Windows Products. Triage assets and be able to diagnose and recommend cosmetic or OS repairs required. Managing warranty repairs and completing them with a high level of quality and attention to detail. Compile repair data and provide performance reporting to management. Update inventory system at all times relating to assets status. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

These are the job duties for required of the position

Education	A High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience	A minimum of (1) year of experience working with assets, inventory systems, imaging, and troubleshooting devices required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities	Asset/Inventory Management experience relating to the life-cycle management of IT assets through an Asset Management Database System. Experience working with Microsoft Office 365, ability to use Excel Ability to troubleshoot, image and repair Dell and Apple devices. Ability to communicate verbally or in written form strongly desired. Organization skills to balance and prioritize work. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Duties performed on-site.
Conditions of Employment	This is a Contractual position. Please be advised, COVID-19 vaccinations are not required but encouraged for faculty and staff to be employed at Bowie State University. This protocol is subject to change.
