The Finance Systems Manager will support the Alliance goal to become a data driven organization by developing Business Intelligence products, including reports and dashboards that provide relevant, accurate and clear information. The Finance Systems Manager is responsible for ensuring that data requirements are met and that the developed solution is technically sound. The position will also provide end user support on developed data products. The Finance Systems Manager will also be responsible for assisting with general system maintenance and user experience troubleshooting.
This position will allow the successful candidate to work a schedule best suited for the candidate which can include both onsite at the Morrisville office or Charlotte; as well as remote work as approved by their supervisor.
Responsibilities & Duties
Report and Dashboard Development
Serve as the subject matter expert of the reporting modules within Sage Intacct. The specific reporting modules currently included are Financial Reporting, Custom Reports, Interactive Custom Reports, and Interactive Visual Explorer
Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and business requirements. Perform data analysis of datasets to determine its usability for report development
Design and develop Sage Intacct reports and dashboards, including all necessary objects (e.g., metrics and filters) required by them
Utilize available visualization tools and skills to develop, detect and promote understanding of data patterns, trends, and correlations to further business insights
Participate in developing and understanding data models and provide design consultation and testing to support corporate business initiatives
Test and review reports and dashboards to ensure that requirements are met and that they are developed in line with our development standards and best practices
Other duties as assigned, which may include performing the above functions with other software applications
Report and Dashboard Maintenance
Responsible for the maintenance of all reports and dashboards within Sage Intacct and update or discontinue them as needed
Organize reports within the system in a manner that is easy for individuals to understand components of the report to help ensure users are using reports that meet their needs for accuracy
Evaluate reports to find ways to consolidate and simplify the reports the organization is using to ensure users are working with the same data
System Maintenance
The position will monitor the quarterly updates from Sage Intacct and implement the updates as needed. Any updates that affect Alliance Staff will be communicated as needed
The position will work with various teams to assist in the implementation of new features and modules. They will assist in the research and analysis of the feature to help identify the capabilities of the feature to see if it will meet business needs
Work with individuals with system issues and errors to help resolve the cause of the issue

Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and at least 3 years of experience working in a report development role with direct experience developing reports.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, policies, personal computers, operating systems and related software applications. Recommends changes to improve operational efficiencies
Skill in use and application of reference materials to research and solve problems;
Skill in applying new technologies, soft skills and procedures;
Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations at various levels;
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with peers and others;
Ability to identify, to take ownership of, and to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Knowledge of the ERP Sage Intacct
Salary Range
$66,240 to $86,112/Annually
Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
