Job Description:

We are urgently seeking an Imports/Logistics Coordinator for a prominent client of ours in Ontario, CA The Imports/Logistics Coordinator would be responsible for communication with clients, efficiency and the resolution of transportation issues. While the role of Imports/Logistics Coordinator is full on and fast paced within a team environment, it is a varied and rewarding job with duties ranging from documenting logistics calls to assisting vendors with pricing and selection. An Imports/Logistics Coordinator requires high attention to detail, an invaluable quality within the industry.



Pay: $23.00-28.00/hour+ DOE



Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm, Overtime as needed



Job Duties:

• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, terminals, truckers, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely release and delivery of freight and empty container return.


• Able to identify and resolve issues which could delay release or delivery of freight.


• Accurately provide billing and invoicing of shipment in a timely matter.


• Must be able to organize personnel, and assist with training as required, whilst also organizing budgets and courier expenses.


• Required to provide clients and customers with timely rate quotations.


• Process and prepare import documents as required.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus


• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (high level proficiency with Excel)


• 2+ years of Imports/Exports or logistics experience required
