We are partnered with a CPA firm in Morris Plains, NJ who is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team.

Position: Administrative Assistant


Location: Onsite, Morris Plains, NJ


Hours: 9:30AM-3:30PM (open to full time as well)


Duration: Temporary to Hire


Compensation: Up to $26/hourly


Responsibilities:



  • Client Communication: Acting as a primary point of contact for clients,answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.This may involve managing multiple calendars and ensuring prompt and professional communication.


  • Document Management: Organizing and maintaining client files, financial documents, and internal paperwork.This includes scanning, filing, and retrieving documents as needed, both electronically and in physical form.


  • HR Support: on boarding such as on boarding new employees, managing employee records, and administering benefits. This may include preparing employment paperwork,scheduling interviews, and coordinating training sessions.


  • Meeting Coordination: Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and arranging conference rooms or virtual meeting spaces. Administrative assistants may also be responsible for taking meeting minutes and distributing them to participants.


  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Inputting and maintaining accurate data in various systems and databases. This could include updating client information,tracking project statuses, and maintaining contact lists.


  • General Administrative Support: Assisting with various administrative tasks as needed, such as filing paperwork, typing correspondence, and organizing office events or social gathering
