Job Title: Credit and Collections Administrator Location: Lake Worth, FL Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000 annually (Temp-to-Hire)
Overview: A reputable client in Lake Worth is seeking a Credit and Collections Administrator. The ideal candidate should have experience in analyzing financial statements, B2B collections, reviewing credit applications, lien releases, and familiarity with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) reports.
Responsibilities:
Analyze credit history and collect payments from customers in accordance with the Credit Policy.
Maintain effective control of all assigned accounts following the guidelines established in the Credit Policy.
Monitor cash receivables and establish credit relationships with credit-worthy companies.
Communicate with inside and outside sales representatives regarding credit decisions, delinquencies, deliveries, and credit holds.
Initiate calls to customers with accounts that are past due for payment.
Manage all aging reports and work to resolve open receivables.
Review accounts regularly with Credit Manager.
Research orders and credit holds.
Generate email correspondences and make sound credit decisions on problematic accounts.
Assist Credit Manager with setting up new accounts and establish credit limits.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college degree or credits earned in a similar field preferred.
Five years of related work experience.
Familiarity with reading credit reports and financial information.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
High level of professionalism and persuasive negotiation techniques.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced credit and collections environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
