First Brands Group is hiring a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to work on site on our plant HOPKINS plant, located in Emporia, Kansas.
The CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE will assist by:
Job objective:
Process orders, maintain customer records, prepare correspondence, and ensure orders are processed on-time and in-full.
Principal activities
Responsible for customer orders; manual and EDI order entry, validation, and maintenance
Communication with internal/external customers to ensure effective relations
Maintain customer records in designated company systems; including customer notes, doc text, tax codes, addresses, sales part cross reference, lead-times, order confirmation set-up, ship notification set-up
Ensure all orders are processed on-time and all exceptions are reported to the sales teams
Assist accounting with information in regards to claims and fines
Run and review daily reports on order status
Obtain information from customers on requested RMA 's to send to accounting for processing
Organize (file/scan) all CSR documents
Obtain customer guides
Document customer complaints to present to supervisor
Responsible for special projects as assigned by management
Promotes and maintains 6S principles throughout the facility
Preferred Requirements:
Highschool diploma or equivalent, or one to three years' experience in customer service, or an equivalent combination required
Must bebe able to transfer knowledge of policies and procedures
Excellent communication (written & verbal), customer relations, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills required
Computer literacy, Microsoft Office products required
