We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be open to working in a hybrid capacity out of our New Braunfels office.
- Prepare tax returns and provide tax planning advice
- Research tax questions and offer suggestions for tax planning purposes
- Provide financial expertise and guidance to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance must be CPA certified or eligible
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role with tax prep experience required
- Strong knowledge of financial report interpretation, corporate accounting, tax accounting, and general ledger accounting
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to clients or stakeholders
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
