Job description




Main Purpose


As a Tank Farm Operator with Tradebe, you will be working in the Tank Farm area at the plant and be responsible for movements and transfers of incoming and outgoing tanks/tankers at the plant.



The role




Key job responsibilities

• Ensure that tank/tanker movements are followed per daily plan


• Keep the area clean and organized


• Responsible for the loading and unloading of tankers, tanks and railcars.


• Taking samples of drums for compatibility test


• Tracking drums that have been processed


• Assist with maintaining pumps, valves, storage equipment, and associated equipment.


• Ensure all EH&S policies and regulations are met.


• Assist with area compliance activities such as LDAR, VOC emissions, maintain secondary containment, etc.

The person




Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience


• One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable


• Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus


• One year Tank Farm experience; and forklift experience, are a plus


• The ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required


• Ability to work required shift


• Ability to read, write and speak English
