HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

The Compensation Manager will report to the Head of Total Rewards in the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for implementing the compensation strategy, administering pay programs and policies, and conducting detailed compensation analysis.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide day-to-day administration of compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, and commissions.
  • Lead the annual merit and mid-year compensation cycles including system preparation, employee communications, analysis, compensation statements, and HRIS uploads.
  • Partner with leadership to design employee compensation programs.
  • Partner closely with Finance to ensure compensation cycles align with annual budgeting.
  • Implement and maintain pay structures, grades, and guidelines.
  • Maintain job description library and job architecture.
  • Participate in compensation surveys, conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends. Lead the annual market refresh initiatives.
  • Manage role pricing and exemption test review for all positions.
  • Advise HRBPs, Talent Acquisition partners, and managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.
  • Design and prepare ad hoc compensation and budget reports for management.
  • Ensure company compliance with applicable compensation regulations and laws including reporting requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

Education & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in compensation including sales compensation and incentive plans. Direct experience with market data tool and salary surveys.
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, finance, business, or related field.
  • Knowledge of key employment laws including federal and state regulations.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail, focus on quality, and a customer service orientation.
  • Analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Superb organizational and project management skills.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLookup and formulas.
  • Consultative skills.
