Job Description:

We are seeking a Manager, Inside Sales Manager who will direct the activities of Inside Sales for Universal Analyzers. The Inside Sales function is responsible for gathering needed technical information, specifications, bids, and other documentation to establish quote strategy, generate costing/pricing, evaluate commercial terms/conditions, write quote documents, enters customers' orders, and supports customer projects from sale to delivery for a broad range of customers.

Key Responsibilities of the Manager, Inside Sales:
• Allocate quotes to project estimators and estimators according to project complexity, risk, and value as well as personnel capability
• Ensure estimating activities successfully and proactively establish and account for scope, schedule, cost, and quality of all projects
• Develop staff savvy required to optimize customer experience and company profit on each order
• Foster a one-company, cooperative, and collaborative department spirit which partners with the rest of UAI-BA to win orders, facilitate project execution, and pursue continuous improvement
• Lead strategic and innovative developments for improving processes, products, and services
• Prepare and manage orders forecasts (based on expected order receipt schedules), and lead organization in achieving the forecast
• Provide regular formal and informal coaching of personnel to achieve the above
• Apply process improvement tools to identify measurable standards to improve business/reporting capabilities
• Develop and maintain departmental KPI's with Analytic Data Analysis and reporting

Requirements of the Manager, Inside Sales:


  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or related
  • Previous experience in Customer service or sales functions or similar
  • 2-4 years experience in the leadership and management of others and achieving department objectives.
  • Green belt or black belt preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to create good dialogue as related to technical complexities with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to use customer centric principles and relationship management when approaching conflict management and resolution with customer. The ability to coach other on this preferred.
  • Proven ability to
  • formulate effective strategy which allows for successful project execution, maintaining and exceeding financial profitability, and ensuring schedule is maintained or exceeded
  • Must be able to coach, develop, and inspire employees as well as resolve conflict in a matrixed environment

Compensation

Salary Minimum: $90,000

Salary Maximum: $110,000

Incentive: Yes
