MRO BUYER

Position Summary

We are immediately seeking an Indirect Buyer, MRO to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing, administration and implementation of purchasing initiatives for Indirect / MRO materials & services within Voyant Beauty Gainesville. Other expectations include maintaining responsibilities as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and managing all MRO stock locations within Voyant Beauty Gainesville.

Key Responsibilities

• Is the primary Indirect / MRO interface to all internal Customer requirements for the Gainesville Plant


• Drive and maintain compliance to purchasing policies and procedures to support common Indirect / MRO plant strategies


• Support the development of sourcing strategies, alternative sources of supply, and cost reduction projects.


• Manage supplier relationships and analyze proposals to ensure best value for purchased materials / services


• Support and monitor key supplier performance metrics


• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders and overall maintenance of associated record keeping within the purchasing system


• Strong Team focus while demonstrating the ability to operate independently within your location


• Manage spare parts store(s) and KanBan areas to insure critical spares, PPE, cleaning supplies, and office supplies are always on hand

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Required


• Minimum 2 years experience in Indirect / MRO purchasing role, Contract Services and/or Capital Asset experience is preferred.


• Demonstrated background and proven experience with RFQ processes, data analysis, supplier evaluation


• PC skills - Advanced level - to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, JD Edwards experience a plus.
