An environmental engineering firm with nearly five decades of experience is seeking Project Engineers at all levels to contribute to projects across the tri-state area. This is an onsite position Requiring 10% travel, including out-of-state trips
Responsibilities will include:
Collaborates with Principal and clients to address client issues effectively
Manages site investigations and evaluates surface/subsurface conditions
Plans and executes engineering programs per client specifications
Develops and maintains project schedules and budgets
Controls project expenditures within budgetary limits
Identifies and coordinates project staffing requirements
Oversees preparation and delivery of project deliverables
Reviews product designs for compliance with engineering principles and specifications
Interfaces with customers to provide project updates and ensure satisfaction
Provides regular progress reports to clients, project team, and management
Prepares proposal estimates for project completion
Conducts recruitment and performance evaluation of employees
Manages and mentors staff, providing training and career development opportunities
Cultivates and maintains business relationships with existing and potential clients
Identifies new project opportunities and promotes company services
Participates in sales activities and secures new business
Supervises staff and holds management responsibilities
Qualified applicants should have:
Bachelor's Degree a must, Master's preferred
10+ years of engineering experience
Minimum 8 years in project management
Professional Engineer (PE) license and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required
Registered PE preferred
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Proficiency in mathematics and computer-aided design software
