Your Job Purpose:
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer at LotusWorks, your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless integration and optimal performance of the projects Medium and High Voltage electrical systems. You will be instrumental in overseeing the commissioning process from start to finish, working closely with stakeholders to meet project objectives and deliverables. Your expertise in electrical engineering and commissioning will contribute to the successful implementation of projects, ultimately enhancing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Your Job Description:
Assist in the execution of Medium and High Voltage electrical project commissioning to guarantee the optimal performance of all electrical systems, equipment, components, and infrastructure.
Offering guidance on electrical system specifications to ensure adherence to OWNER's performance requirements.
Collaborating with in-house and 3rd Party QAQC/Commissioning Teams to ensure the quality installation and startup of electrical infrastructure.
Performing Capacity vs Demand analysis and system sizing estimates to meet OWNER's stakeholders' evolving requirements.
Conducting technical reviews and providing formal responses to project contract documents, including submittals, RFIs, Design Revision Bulletins (DRBs), and Design Drawings.
Providing guidance on Permitting and Code compliance related to Electrical Systems and associated infrastructure.
Working closely with OWNER's design consultant and general contractor to develop system SOP, SOO, and start-up procedures. Electrical systems include, but are not limited to:
High & Medium Voltage distribution
10kV Switchgears and Breakers
Substation Transformers
Protection Relays
Emergency Generator Systems
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in medium voltage equipment installation and commissioning.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field experience preferred.
Semiconductor Facilities Electrical Systems Experience
Strong knowledge of HV and MV electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
