AGV/AMR Project Engineer Duties:
Lead cross functional internal logistics projects; troubleshoot and improve parts flow issues related to new model management.
Challenge and break down the ideal situation and current systems in pursuit of establishing the optimal business process to improve supply chain performance using efficient problem solving and countermeasure development.
Develop and execute strategy to communize and consolidate supply chain data / KPI reflecting internal delivery, routing and returns handling performance to facilitate daily process management and problem solving.
Collaborate directly with Company departments and Pilot Engineers to confirm process requirements, tool development and system compliance requirements.
AGV/AMR Project Engineer Requirements:
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional work experience
Core Day Shift hours - but must be able to work weekends, holiday periods, and shutdown periods as needed to support tooling modification and installation projects
Ability to travel to support work at machine vendors
Strong computer (CAD) modeling Experience
Equipment install experience
Microsoft Excel experience
PLC & Ladder Logic Experience
Automation & Integration experience
Ability to complete work travel - USA, Canada, Mexico - Note: when on work travel - hotel, rental car, airfare - expenses are covered as per company travel policy, time travelling is paid, and a $75/day meal allowance is applicable - expenses can be placed on Company credit card - or reimbursed next available pay period
