Power Electronics Engineer - SF/Bay Area - Renewable Energy/Battery Energy Storage System
I'm looking for a talented Power Electronics Engineer who would be eager to get their foot in the door with a growing startup!
This person will be a crucial part of my client's Engineering & R&D team as they develop their power management hardware in their battery systems.
Some of your responsibilities and daily tasks would include but aren't limited to:
Design and develop power electronics systems for a variety of applications
Conduct testing and validation of power electronics systems
Printed circuit board design, layout, and simulation
Support all UL and other certification requirements
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering or similar
3+ years in power electronics design and development (board design, layout, simulation, etc)
Strong understanding of Energy Storage Systems, BMS, BESS, Inverters and/or grid power
Solid understanding of industry standards such as UL and CE
It would be a plus if you have analog electronic design experience as well as experience working with high-voltage BMS systems and power conversion.
