Job Title: Global Retail Operations Analyst

Reports to: Global Retail Operations Manager

Location: US-Remote

The Role

In the heart of this role lies the critical responsibility of optimizing our retail operations through detailed data analysis and insights. As a Global Retail Operations Analyst, you will illuminate pathways to mitigate losses, propel efficiency, and advance strategic initiatives that underpin the financial stability and operational excellence of Deckers Brands.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

1. Exception-Based Reporting


  • Craft automated systems for anomaly detection in sales, inventory, and transactions.

  • Develop and implement real time alerts for prompt corrective action.

2. Loss Prevention Analysis:


  • Use data to identify risks and support the formulation of robust loss prevention strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to apply findings and reduce operational losses.

3. Operational Efficiency and Performance Analysis:


  • Analyze financial, sales, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Provide actionable insights for efficiency gains and cost optimization.

4. Strategic Support for Retail Growth:


  • Offer analytical support for new store launches and existing operations.

  • Leverage technology to improve customer experience and operational processes.

Who You Are


  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Effective communicator with an ability to convey complex ideas succinctly.

  • Adaptable and innovative with a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Required Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst in retail or similar environments.

  • Preferred Knowledge: Advanced understanding of loss prevention and retail operations analytics.

  • Utilized programs: Proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and other data analysis software is crucial.

  • Necessary Skills: Advanced data analysis, strategic thinking, and effective communication.

$85,000 - $90,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
