ROLE DESCRIPTION:


Major responsibilities are listed but not limited to the following duties:

  • Process AP vendor invoices related to location purchases and provide use tax information to main office for monthly filing
  • Manage time reporting system including the upload manufacturing cost details into SAP
  • Initial approver of field service expense reports, requiring attention to detail to ensure information and travel rules are followed
  • Assist Management with various ad hoc projects
  • Administer accounting close functions including manufacturing reporting analysis, investments reporting, reconciliation of bank and general ledger
  • Assist in tracking and forecasting budgets for manufacturing and overhead expenses
  • Maintain fixed assets including setting up investments, depreciation, tracking inventory, vehicle registration and property taxes
  • Support external and internal audits - maintaining well documented files in order to accurately present a clear audit trail
  • Provide local office support by handling phone calls, sorting mail, sending out packages when needed, etc.
  • Support Manager of Financial Controlling with P&L tracking as required
  • Support Commercial Mgmt Team with Project financial Controlling



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or relevant experience
  • 5-10 years relevant work experience in finance/accounting
  • SAP experience highly desired
  • Strong computer skills. Excel proficiency required.

  • Ability to research and interpret internal and external accounting policy and regulations
  • Must be assertive and highly proactive with the ability to adhere to strict reporting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good judgment and demonstrated ability to work independently
