Axogen is hiring for a Financial Analyst in Tampa, FL!



Job Summary of the Financial Analyst


Axogen is looking for an energetic person to join our FP&A group and become an integral business partner to all functions within the organization - someone tenacious, with a strong desire to create efficiencies and confidence to change things up. This individual will be a key player in the monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes. They will support management planning and decision-making by identifying, maintaining, evaluating information, and recommending actions.


Requirements of the Financial Analyst

  • 2-4 years of related financial work experience in a corporate setting
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related discipline. MBA preferred.
  • Planful experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software. Excel expertise a must.
  • Experience with Accounting Software, i.e. Great Plains a plus.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst


The specific duties of the Financial Analyst include but are not limited to:
  • Prepares the monthly actuals reporting package, including variance analysis against the relative benchmark.
  • Maintains headcount reports and coordinates with Human Resources on tracking of authorized open positions.
  • Provide monthly reporting for 1) the new manufacturing facility capital project and 2) the expense project leading to Axogen's path to designation as a biologic.
  • Assists in the annual budget and forecasting cycles by collecting and loading department budget submissions, analyzing outputs, preparing reporting packages, and providing business partners guidance throughout the process.
  • Become subject matter expert on our reporting/planning system Planful, eventually performing the maintenance activities, designing reports, retrieving data, and training business partners on how to use.
  • Builds financial models by identifying sources of information; assembling, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals.
  • Contributes to team effort by performing ad-hoc analysis and requests.
  • Adhoc reporting as needed.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Salary Range


$72,142-$90,177 USD


Axogen is on a hybrid work schedule for some of our positions based out of our headquarters in Florida, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The hybrid work schedule does not include sales or facilities in Ohio or Texas.

Axogen follows healthcare system guidelines with respect to credentialing, vaccinations and other employment/compliance related requirements, as well as CDC guidance. Axogen reserves the right to amend its policies from time to time in its sole discretion.
