The Vandy Thrift Store will be an extension of our Career Center in effort to have an outlet for our individuals to utilize the tools and skills learned and apply them in the retail community.
MUST BE 21+ to apply. Primary Duties & Essential Functions
Sorting and pricing Merchandise
Guest transactions and operates POS systems with speed and accuracy.
Processes restocks racks with products as needed.
Required Education, Knowledge And Skills
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Must be very patient as you will be working with clients with developmental disabilities.
Must be able to pass extensive background test.
Abilities And Working Conditions
Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
Understands the importance of Customer Service
Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs. regularly.
Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting Customers.
Ability to operate POS System - be familiar with Square Register
Store hours open and hours worked are subject to change.
Pay: $16.00
