Job Title: Director of Business Development - Kids Sports & Fitness

ABOUT THE JOB

Kidokinetics is a mobile sports program that introduces children ages 6 months to 12 years to over 20 different sports in a non-competitive environment. Our mission is to help children develop lasting self-confidence and a lifelong love of physical fitness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities include:

Prospecting to drive enrollment of schools, daycares, and other key targets in Kidokinetics programming.

Driving customer relationships and satisfaction, leading to strong renewals, and growth opportunities.

Playing a leadership role in coaching and leading a team. You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training new coaches to ensure our services are delivered with the highest standards of excellence.

Overseeing the quality and success of Kidokinetics day-to-day operations including marketing initiatives, sales strategy execution, social media, staffing, customer service, training, and workplace employee activities.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to leadership team.

Engage and maintain positive relationships with directors of youth-serving organizations, school administration, community partners, and parents to build Kidokinetics partnerships and support business expansion.

Facilitate enrollment processes for new clients.

Respond to all agency, parent, and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, seeking guidance from the leadership team.

Uphold and follow health and safety regulations.

Conduct periodic community events and demo days for prospective customers.

Promote and adhere to the workplace values of Kidokinetics.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and business or military experience.

Strong network in schools and/or experience of running kids camps or summer camp programs strongly preferred.

Teaching or coaching experience with children (required).

Sports-related background as either an athlete or coach (preferred).

Formal management experience (preferred).

You do not need experience playing all 20 sports that are offered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • driver's license.
  • a level 2 background check.
  • is a mobile program, so you must have a reliable means of transportation.

Kidokinetics programs are offered indoors and outdoors year-round.

May require long periods of standing and activity when coaching (running, jumping, sitting, standing, pushing, walking, kneeling, etc.)

Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS

$50,000 - $55,000 annual compensation plus incentives and bonuses
  • insurance stipend
  • gas stipend
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)

SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
  • 8-hour shift Monday through Friday
  • on call or weekend availability when needed
  • location with approximately 50% work from home office, and 50% travel to meet with directors and teach classes.
