The Lower Savannah Council of Governments, a regional planning and development agency located in Aiken, SC, is seeking qualified applicants for an entry level position of Aging, Disabilities, Transportation Human Services Integrated Programs Specialist. Primary duties will be to conduct in home client interviews/assessments for services, eligibility and needs determination for home delivered and congregate site nutrition, home care, and transportation services as set forth by the Older American Act.
Candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software. Daily travel to homes and communities within a six-county region required. Must pass a background check. Bachelor's Degree in a Social Science such as Sociology or Psychology preferred.
