Our Challenge:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and stakeholders to design and develop complex software solutions using core Java, multithreading, and microservices.
  2. Implement and optimize multithreaded applications for performance and scalability, leveraging your expertise in core Java and concurrent programming.
  3. Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based architectures using Java frameworks and platforms, ensuring modularity, resilience, and ease of maintenance.
  4. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
  5. Build and optimize data and message processing pipelines using multithreading and microservices to achieve high throughput and low latency.
  6. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of microservices-based applications in cloud or on-premises environments.
  7. Participate in code reviews, quality assurance, and testing activities to maintain high standards of software quality and reliability.
  8. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in Java development, multithreading, and microservices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


Requirements:

You are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in core Java, multithreading, and microservices development.
  • In-depth knowledge of core Java concepts, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading for building high-performance and scalable applications.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices using Java frameworks and platforms such as Spring Boot, Dropwizard, or Micronaut.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, performance optimization, and best practices for building resilient and manageable microservices-based architectures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps practices for deployment and maintenance of microservices-based applications.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

It would be great if you also had:
  • Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing microservices.
  • Experience with distributed tracing, monitoring, and logging solutions for microservices-based applications.
  • Understanding of serverless computing, event-driven systems, and reactive programming using Java and related frameworks.
