Your role:


*You will strive to understand current clinical challenges and develop creative solutions to address these.


*You will generate and drive software innovations from concept to prototype to clinical validation to product realization.


*Your efforts will be central to shaping our predevelopment roadmap, which requires complex algorithm development to support the interpretation of medical images.


*You will engage in a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment, interfacing closely with research and software engineering teams, as well as product management, systems engineering, and external academic collaborators.


*You will scout for new applications through research collaborations, conferences, publications, healthcare media, and customer interaction.


*Your work will focus on making our software and scanners smarter, faster, more intuitive, generating richer and more clinically meaningful results.








Your expertise:


*M.S. or Ph.D. in physics / computer science / electrical engineering / biomedical engineering or related field.


*Minimum of 5 years of experience (advanced degree may be substituted for experience, where applicable).


*A proven record in research, innovative thinking, real world problem solving, and software prototyping.


*Programming skills in C / C++ and at least one other language (preferably Python), and knowledge of industrial approaches of software development.


*Signal processing, image processing and computer vision expertise. Familiarity with medical imaging would be beneficial (SPECT, PET, CT, DICOM, coordinate systems, image registration, etc.).
