Senior Manager of Foster Care Case Management at Evangelical Childrens Home in Dexter, Missouri

Job Description:

Summary: Assists the Director of Foster Care Case Management (FCCM) in the operations of the foster care case management program within assigned region by providing direction and supervision to FCCM supervisors that is consistent with the FCCM contract and ECH's mission, procedures, standards, and policies. Works within assigned region to establish relationships with key stakeholders, service providers and ensure that ECH is providing quality service to both community stakeholders and children and families within the identified region.

· Provides supervision, mentoring and ongoing training to Southeast Region FCCM supervisors, and case managers as necessary, that is consistent with the Agency's mission, policies, goals, and objectives.

· Identifies needs for program improvement, collaborates with FCCM leadership to develop program improvement plans and implements identified actions.

· Responsible for being trauma aware, sensitive, and responsive to youth, families and colleagues through the completion of new hire and annual trauma informed education and training.

· Provides program information and updates to Director of FCCM, and Vice President of Community Based Services, as requested.

· Participates in program development efforts and is responsible for the implementation of these within Southeast Region FCCM.

· Assists with hiring, training and performance evaluation of supervisors and case managers as necessary.

· Manages the operations of Southeast Region, ensuring that we are meeting outcomes and program expectations as identified in the FCCM contract, CD policies and ECH. Including, but not limited to, case documentation, timelines, payment authorizations, and court reports for the program.

· Ensures all client records are maintained within established standards, including the oversight of peer reviews.

· This position requires travel to FCCM regional offices and other possible locations.

· Works in collaboration with the Director of FCCM in addressing complaints and resolving problems with internal and external partners and clients.

· Attends required meetings.

· Completes required training and education requirements.

· Other duties as assigned.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages the Southeast Foster Care Case Management supervisors and acts as a supplemental supervisor to FCCM case managers, including training and mentoring. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Maintains a positive community presences and workers with community stakeholders, service providers and other identified opportunities.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position requires travel to FCCM regional offices and other possible locations.
