This is a multi-faceted role with room to grow in multiple disciplines. Applicants will be supporting two environments: the company's internal environment and a highly virtualized cloud MSP environment. You will be tasked implementation, administration, and maintenance of server systems in a highly virtualized multitenant cloud environment with a focus on CMMC compliance and uptime.
Tasks would include virtualization of various applications into the Citrix Cloud Environment. Typical server and user administration, onboarding and support of cloud clients.
Both environments have a focus on security, with the cloud meeting CMMC compliance restrictions for our customers. This means working closely with compliance experts and auditors to provide evidence for client audits.
Role Responsibilities:
Cloud infrastructure support - VMWare, Hyper-V, Hardware, Switches, Firewalls
VDI design, implementation, and support using Citrix
Strong knowledge on implementation and procurement of DaaS, PaaS and IaaS systems
Routine Windows & Linux Server Administration
Vulnerability remediation and reporting based on Tenable scan and agent results
Ability to communicate the design value and economic value of recommended architectures
Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in performance tuning, infrastructure design, and monitoring
Team player, good time management and organizational skills, ability to work independently with limited supervision
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT architectures, processes, and solutions
Ability to work within a strict change management framework
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) and automation a plus
Ability to obtain any required security clearances
Experience:
5+ years as a Tier 3 Cloud Engineer
5+ Years Implementing Citrix VDI Solutions
