Title: Network Infrastructure Manager

Through Core BTS Resource Management Services (RMS), we offer custom talent solutions to help our clients meet their evolving technology and business needs. Location: Hybrid remote; primary office in Newark, Delaware with occasional requirements in Dover, DE.

Job Summary: As a Network Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee all network infrastructure operations and projects to ensure seamless performance and security that aligns with our company's strategic goals. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network systems across WAN, LAN, and remote access services, ensuring optimal functionality and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically design and develop network infrastructure for the entire enterprise, ensuring robust connectivity and system integrity.
  • Define and enforce network policies, procedures, and controls to align with organizational goals.
  • Secure and manage access to internal and external networks, promptly addressing any connectivity issues or outages.
  • Oversee the procurement, installation, and management of network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Regularly monitor network performance, provide reports to management, and recommend technological advancements.
  • Coordinate with company leadership and external vendors to optimize network solutions.
  • Maintain and organize networking equipment, ensuring all supporting devices are operational.
  • Offer advanced support and expertise on networking issues, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Lead critical incident responses outside of regular hours as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

Who You Are:
  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, or Business.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in IT and network administration, with a minimum of 1 year in project management.
  • Certifications in Cisco and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Proficient in modern routing protocols and network topology.
  • Skilled in simplifying complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Work Environment:
  • This position operates in a hybrid setting, requiring office presence approximately two days a week, with potential full-week on-site engagements depending on project demands.
