Job Description:

A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax Associate for a promising Senior-level position with their growing staff. In this role, the Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for servicing the firm's High Net Worth clients with tax compliance, planning and research.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing individual, estate and trust tax returns, including learning fiduciary accountings, private foundations and other ways to assist clients in retaining their wealth.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working within a Middle Market and/or CPA firm
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, and/or a related field
• Solid Tax background (Fiduciary, Individual, Partnership, Trust / Estate)
• Experience working with High Net Work clients
• Working knowledge of Prosystem
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Juris Doctorate and/or Master's Degree in Taxation
• CPA or parts passed
