Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Lab Technician 1. Based out of Malta.

How you will make an impact:

• As a Lab Technician 1, you will report into the QA Lab Manager and coordinate, plan and carry out laboratory testing and issue associated reporting on all raw materials.
• You will also:
• Collect raw materials, store securely the material, test safely following lab guidelines, always maintain overall cleanliness at all times.
• Collect testing Specimen, Test according to guidelines, Report Results, reconciliate all the material retained & maintain overall cleanliness at all times.
• Support production on urgent requirements and report results in time not to delay production.
• Support the maintenance and calibration of the Lab devices, weekly checks and stock control of consumables.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of chemistry, chemical behavior, and handling
• Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in Laboratory testing environment, eye and attention required.
• Strong willingness to work as a Team, Self- starter & self- motivator.
• Strong organizational & communication skills required.

Preferred:

• 5 years’ experience in laboratory testing.
